Luke is a corporate finance professional with 25 years’ experience in corporate advisory, M&A, strategic analysis, capital management and investor relations with major ASX100 & 200 companies, state owned corporations and corporate advisory firms.
Skilled at establishing & leveraging comprehensive understandings of strategic investment rationales driving corporate M&A teams & Boards, Luke has a track record of delivering above expectation transaction outcomes.
Luke has a sound theoretical knowledge and understands the successful integration of all activities over the transaction life-cycle is critical to delivering exceptional outcomes.
Luke has diverse industry experience, including mining, mining services & technology, oil & gas services & technology, transport & logistics, construction, environmental services utilities, agriculture & food security, fintech and technology.
Shane Crommelin
Director
Shane has over 25 years’ experience in business advisory, M&A, financing, strategy development and forecasting. Shane has undertaken a significant number of M&A and financing transactions, acting on behalf of both Buyers & Vendors.
Shane is a Director of Modus Capital and the founder of Elevate Accounting. He has won numerous national awards at the Australian Accounting Awards, including Partner of the Year (2018, 2019 & 2020) and Business Advisory Firm of the Year (2019, 2020 & 2021). Shane is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Advisor, holds an MBA and is a member of the AICD.
Shane is an accounting and forecasting expert and is able to assist businesses to arrange and disseminate complex financial information in a reliable and logical manner. This ensures that transactions are framed in an appropriate manner and able to satisfy robust due diligence. Shane is able to rapidly understand complex commercial and strategic landscapes.
Drew Watson
Senior Associate
Drew is an corporate finance professional with significant experience in banking, private equity, private credit and venture capital across the entire investment cycle and a diverse range of industry sectors.
Prior to joining Modus Capital, Drew was based in London and gained experience as an associate with a special situations private equity firm, following experience as part of the private equity team at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Drew holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia with a double major in finance and accounting. At Modus, Drew thrives on building strong relationships with clients and working alongside them to deliver above expectation outcomes.
